“Twenty years. It has been twenty years since the inhabitants of Château-Noir have vanished, without anybody knowing why. Back then, rumors were rife. It was told that, driven insane by her widowhood, the lady of the manor had become a tyrant, who wouldn’t mind getting her domestic servants whipped. Some even pretended that she studied the Black arts, and engaged herself in ungodly rituals. Well, of course, after all this time, no one had even imagined to step foot in such a dreadful venue, forgotten by God himself. Although, from time to time, a gruesome truth come to light, one of whom everyone would have preferred that it would have been kept hidden. It is in a cursed place, an abandoned castle, enshrouded inmist, that our hero makes the most horrendous encounter. Foolish traveler! You should have stayed home rather than digging the past. For, in the damned castle's crypt, what have been buried should have remained that way... For eternity.”
